G.A. West & Company has several openings for Structural Iron Workers in Loudon, TN.
- Must be able to read and understand orthographic, erection and item drawings
- Must have complete understanding of beam numbers and erection plans
- Must be familiar with various size and types of materials
- Must be familiar with stairs and handrail erection
- Must be familiar with proper rigging techniques
- Must be familiar with crane placement, flagging of loads and lifts, power tools, impacts etc.
- Must be experienced with torqueing methods and racking and plumbing steel structures
- Must be familiar with OSHA rules and regulations
- Must be willing to undergo background check and drug screening
