Through hands-on experience, department presentations, facility tours, and a final presentation project, you'll gain practical skills and insights that will leave you more experienced, and more confident, than when you started.

Hands-On Experience
Your summer won't be spent solely in the office; you'll also be out on active jobsites, observing projects in motion and gaining firsthand insight into the day-to-day operations of a real construction site.
Department Presentations
Throughout the summer, each department at G.A. West hosts a session showcasing how it operates and the vital role it plays in the success of the company as a whole.
Company Facility Tours
G.A. West operates multiple local facilities, from our equipment yard to our fabrication shops. Guided tours at each location give you a behind-the-scenes look at how every piece fits into the bigger picture.
Final Presentation Assignment
G.A. West interns will work closely with their mentors and tap into available resources throughout the summer to develop a final presentation, which they will deliver to their peers, executives, and company leadership.
