G.A. West & Co. is seeking an OSHA Instructor in Creola, Alabama. This position can be part-time or full-time at our Radcliff Office location. More details below:
Responsibilities
- Instruct OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses
- Plan, prepare, and execute training strategies by facilitating classes, providing technical assistance, and/or individual coaching
- Convey OSHA standards and know “training audience” to ensure the course meets the company needs
- Responsible for course preparation and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and performance
- Teach all courses, as assigned, for the full duration of scheduled instruction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in health and safety practices, including OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively engage and interact with participants during training sessions
- Strong organizational skills to develop and maintain curriculum materials
- Flexibility to adapt to different learning styles and adjust training methods as needed
- Must be OSHA 500 certified
- Being bilingual is a plus but not required
